Reflexion builds software that turns everyday hardware into an instrument for measuring the nervous system. Founded in 2015 and based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Reflexion started with visual cognitive training platforms — hardware and software — that assess and train the ways our brains process visual information in elite performance environments. Those systems are in daily use with professional and collegiate sports organizations, military units, rehabilitation providers and academic medical centers across the world.
Reflexion’s current work extends that measurement layer to smart eyewear. Its Respiration Waveform derives a continuous, phase-labelled breathing signal — inhale, exhale, pause — from sensors already present on a head-mounted device: no chest strap, no nasal cannula, no added component in the bill of materials. The algorithm runs entirely on-device, so the signal never has to leave the glasses to be useful, and Reflexion is working with Qualcomm to bring the capability to the Snapdragon AR1 platform so that any device maker building on it can offer continuous respiratory context. That combination — perceptive sensing from hardware people already wear, delivered privately at the edge — is what Reflexion brings to the Personal AI Health Alliance.
